Michelle Mallory, MA, is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. While in New York, she worked as a career counselor at a college career development center, providing holistic career counseling, resume review, interviewing skills, and career related assessments for students.

In addition to career and academic concerns, Michelle also focuses on women’s issues. She will soon complete the PSI training program to increase her knowledge of perinatal mood disorders. Michelle also has several years of experience working with grade school children. She currently works as a KidsKonnect Facilitator in local elementary schools, helping children cope with family disruption. Further areas of Michelle’s focus include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, work/life balance, and spirituality/meaning of life.

Michelle offers a warm, open, and empathetic environment for her clients. She tailors her sessions to meet each client’s needs, offering psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, existential, client-centered, and mindfulness based therapeutic approaches. Michelle strives to create a safe space for clients to explore their innermost hopes, fears, thoughts, and feelings.
