Keisha Delva holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She also holds a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Keisha uses an approach that incorporates person-centered therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts and Mindfulness approaches, to help clients improve overall wellness and work towards achieving a personal sense of meaning and purpose.
Keisha’s clinical experience includes providing therapy in a variety of settings including inpatient treatment, outpatient, residential, in-home and in-school services. Keisha works with children, adolescents, adults and couples on relationship issues, LGBT issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and addiction. She specializes in helping young adults and women adjust and cope with concerns including career choices, gender identity, social issues, and life transitions. Keisha believes in creating a warm, supportive space to facilitate a strong and genuine therapeutic relationship.
Keisha is of Haitian descent and is a certified Interpreter in Haitian Creole. Keisha is available to conduct sessions in English or Haitian Creole.
