Elsa joined JFS in 2007 and accepted the Family Stabilization Program Data Manager position in 2008. She is responsible for collecting and analyzing demographic and outcome data for FSP, as well as monitoring revenue and expenses. Her role in the Finance Department includes accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as payroll, counseling clients insurance and billing, and other accounting duties. Elsa Pena earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the Colegio Femenino in Montevideo, Uruguay. She brought more than 20 years of experience in financial management and customer service from Uruguay and has since worked as a staff accountant for more than 15 years in the United States. Prior to her time at JFS, Elsa has worked for Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando and United Jewish Communities of Metro West New Jersey.
